Five years ago I wanted to combine my passion for photography with my love for the ocean.
I didn't know what camera to buy, I struggled to find gear that was affordable and the idea of swimming in the ocean felt really intimidating to me.
Sadly, there were no women out there teaching on this subject. All courses on ocean/surf photography were created by men for men with the focus on capturing short boarders surfing big waves. On top of that, all of these courses were out of my budget.
I couldn't find what I was looking for: a mentor to show me how to capture beautiful sunsets, sunrises, women dancing on logs in a way that wasn't going to cost me thousands of dollars.
So it took me 3 years to figure everything out by myself. I promised myself that if I ever figured out how to capture & share the beauty of the ocean in an affordable way, I would become the mentor for other women that I never had.
